In the archives, you will find info on past events and other subjects,
including the notice of eviction delivered to our office by Vanadzor
municipal authorities in March 2002. As you will find out, this
attempt at harrassment was defeated thanks to the support we received
from international organizations. At the same time, many families
have been forced to leave their “domiki” (temporary huts put up
after the earthquake in 1988) by a ministerial decree. Details are
published in past issues of our newspaper Civil
Initiative, which is available (in Armenian): English-language
summaries and additional info are provided for the non-Armenian
speaker.
