“The issue of freedom of conscience still remains a problem and it is the first indicator for human rights situation”-mentioned Arthur Sakunts, the coordinator of HCA Vanadzor, during the discussion on “Religious Tolerance in Vanadzor” held at Helsinki Citizen’s Assembly-Vanadzor office on March 21, 2009. It was organized within the framework of the International day for the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination during the UNITED action week against racism.
What is tolerance? Is there tolerant attitude among society and especially towards refugees? These were the issues that were discussed with 20 youngsters of Nor Khachakap village (a village near Vanadzor inhabited by refugees), during the training held on July 24.

"Act Against Intolerance" HCA Vanadzor organized a competition of compositions for schoolchildren of higher grades and for students.
