Armenian “Human Rights Activists” as a Weapon of Azeri Propaganda or what is the cost of Anti-Armenianism

/2011-November-22/
PanARMENIAN.Net –Within the last few days, 2 more Armenian soldiers were killed at the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border line from Azeri sniper shots. Tragic incidents like this prove the war is not over yet; it still continues, and the enemy is waiting for a chance to strike. Unfortunately, it also turns out, that some of our compatriots are waging their own “war”and are ready to sacrifice their motherland in pursuit of their own ambitions and interests. Yesterday, Nov 21, as reported by Armenian TV, a certain Armenian human rights activist accused Armenia of “violating the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE)” at Brussels-hosted NATO session. As PanARMENIAN.Net discovered, the activist is Artur Sakunts, Chairman of Helsinki Citizens' Assembly - Vanadzor. Mr. Sakunts did not consider that even without the unfounded accusations, Azeri propaganda already excels in vilifying Armenia, accusing us of all human sins; Sakunts for some reason, also forgot the “arms race” incited by Baku, as well as provocations at the border line. It should be stated, that so far, no international mission was able to accuse Armenia of a CFE violation for one clear reason: the country does not violate the Treaty. Moreover Sakunts wasn’t in the least bit disturbed by the indignant reaction by the other members of the Armenian Delegation, who were clearly unaware of the “good and high intentions” of the human rights activist. Now the question arises, how is such a “defender of human rights”, moreover an Armenian, different from those three individuals, who were just recently charged with state treason for spying in favor of Azerbaijan?
