Management of Financial Resources

On November 26-28, 2010, HCA Vanadzor implemented a training on "Management of Financial Resources."

The training course was held by Shahen Shahinyan and Heriknaz Tigranyan from Transparency International Anti-corruption Center for six employees of HCA Vanadzor.

The goal of the training was to provide the employees of the organization with mechanisms and relevant skills of making organizational and project budgets, preparing financial reports and making contracts.

The following topics were presented during the training:

the peculiarities of bookkeeping for NGOs
preparation of budgets and mechanisms of their preparation
effective budget management
preparation of financial reports
preparation of contracts
justification of expenditures
changes in RA Labour Code

The topics were presented in theory and in practice.

The training was held within the framework of the project “Capacity Building of HCA Vanadzor in the Sphere of Human Rights.” The project was funded by the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Armenia and the Government of the Netherlands.
