Development of the New Strategy of HCA Vanadzor

On July 20-25, 2010, thirteen members of HCA Vanadzor held a five-day workshop in Tsakhkadzor.

The goal of the workshop was to develop the 2011-2015 strategy on which the implementation of the further organization mission will be based. The meeting was facilitated by an external expert.

During the five-day meeting the participants evaluated and reviewed the previous strategy, reformulated the mission and the vision of the organization. The main strategic goals and operative aims, the organization structure were also reviewed, the human and material resources necessary for the implementation of the organization activity, the opportunities for the capacity building were discussed.

The whole work was implemented in working groups and at the end of each day reports have been made.

At the end of the workshop the structure of HCA Vanadzor strategy for 2011-2015  was defined and it will consist of the following chapters:

The 2011-2015 strategic planning of HCA Vanadzor was developed within the framework of the project “Civil Control over Military Forces” as a capacity building component of the project, which is funded by the Dutch organization ICCO.
