 On May 15th, 2009 the transport Vanadzor – Yerevan and Spitak – Yerevan was not in service. Today no mini-buses left for Yerevan. The studies held by the employees of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor at the stations of Vanadzor and Spitak showed that the drivers had been instructed not to work. In accordance with that order Vanadzor – Yerevan and Spitak – Yerevan transportation, according to some preliminary information, will not work till 4 p.m. In the passengers’ opinion the order was related to the election meeting to be organized by the Armenian National Congress in Yerevan on May 15, 2009. We should remind that on March 1t and May 1, 2009 the transport Vanadzor – Yerevan and Spitak – Yerevan was not in service either because there were meetings in Yerevan on those days.
