Lori Regional Administration is Getting ready for the July 18 Rally

 According to reliable sources of Lori Regional Administration, a meeting took place on July 15, 2008 with participation of the governor, heads of administration departments. The main topic of the discussion was the failure of the rally that will be held in Vanadzor on July 18, 2008.The participants of the meeting discussed the events, which can create obstacles for participation of people. It was decided to order all village heads not to participate in the rally. At the same time, they have to prohibit the residents of their villages to take part. They also discussed the issue of stopping public transport in Vanadzor in order to inhibit free movement of people from different parts of the city to the place of the rally, the territory near the Palace of Culture. They did not make a decision on this last issue. Some of the participants thought that it could cause tension in the city. We should remind that the rally to be held on July 18, 2008, at 17:00-19:00 is initiated by HCA Vanadzor. They applied to the municipality to inform about the rally on “1609 and 1620 Resolutions.”
