A Rally will take place in Vanadzor

 A rally will take place for “Informing about the course of 1609 and 1620 CoE Parliamentary Assembly Resolutions” on July 18, 2008, at 17:00-19:00 near to the Cultural Palace after Charles Aznavour.The organizer of the rally is Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor. The organization applied to the mayor of Vanadzor with a request to inform about holding the rally mentioning as a place of the meeting non- privatized part of “Artsakh” park in the Central part of Vanadzor. During the discussion in the municipality on July 9, 2008 it was announced that “Artsakh” park is private property. Vanadzor Mayor offered another place for organizing a meeting - near to the Cultural Palace after Charles Aznavour. Arthur Sakunts, the coordinator of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor did not object. According to RA law “On Holding Assemblies, Rallies, Meetings and Demonstrations,” the mayor of Vanadzor has made a decision for the meeting within 72 hours on holding it on July 18, 2008, offering another place. By N 912(10.06.2008) decision of Vanadzor Mayor on the meeting of HCA Vanadzor was accepted. We should inform you that this is the first rally after March 1, 2008 events organized in Vanadzor.
