Lori Region Prosecutor's Office started a criminal case against the Mayor of Stepanavan

Stepanavan Mayor Sargis Gharakeshishyan has made a decision/ 22.09.2003 N 294 decision/ for allocating a four-room apartment to E. T. as a family consisting of six member.

E. T. got familiar with Mayor’s decision about allocating an apartment to his family much later when the apartment had already been sold.
  Really only E. T was on the list of the families who lost their apartments because of a disaster.
The apartment, given to E. T’s family has been privatized as if by the name of another family member, then was sold by him.
  E. T. applied to Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor office in Stepanavan in April 2008 for getting support. HCA Vanadzor undertook defence of E. T’s rights and sent a message to Lori Region Public Prosecutor's Office/ letter N 311 of 15.05.2008 /.
  On July 13, 2008, Lori Region Public Prosecutor's Office informed by 14.06.2008 2/96-08 letter that the case had been passed to RA Police (GIA) Lori Region Investigation Department for preparing the necessary documents and proceeding the case.
  As a result, RA Lori Region Public Prosecutor's Office started a criminal case against Stepanavan mayor by 10.07.2008 decision for abusing his official authority /Lori Region 10.07.2008 532-004 -08 letter/.
