ARMENIA WAS GIVEN ONE MORE CHANCE The PACE Monitoring Commission decided to extend the deadline for meeting the demands of the resolution 1609 on Armenia till January 2009. The commission proposed giving Armenia time till the January session of the PACE for the implementation of the resolution 1609.The head of the Armenian delegation to the PACE Davit Harutiunyan said the Armenian delegation has made about 20 changes to the draft resolution, some of which are mere editing, while others are “highly important to Armenia”. Davit Harutiunyan said during the debate the co-rapporteurs of the monitoring commission offered their proposals, and the document which was adopted is rather balanced. http://www.lragir.am/src/index.php?lang=eng#top
