An eyewitness of the meeting the authorities in Yerevan started preparations

According to an eyewitness of the meeting, the authorities in Yerevan have started preparations since 15:00, though the meeting is planned at 18:00.

The busiest streets Moskovyan and Teryan near “Azatutyun” square were blocked at 15:00 by the police groups. The rows of policemen armed with truncheons and shields blocked the square in such a way that it is almost impossible to enter it.
  We have to remind that the meeting organized by the representatives of the opposition starts at 18:00 in the area near the Matenadaran. The municipality of Yerevan rejected the request of the opposition to hold the meeting in “Azatutyun” square, saying that games are planned for children on that day. But at 15:00, the playground of the children became a “playground” for the policemen. From 16:00 the area near the Matenadaran, planned for the meeting, was also blocked in a similar way.
  According to an eyewitness the authorities create additional obstacles for the participants of the regions. At the entrance of Yerevan the traffic police are checking the cars. Those which are bringing people to the meeting, are sent back with different excuses.
